Department of Defense Architectural Framework (DoDAF)
requirements (Overview) • Developed a simulation framework for benchmarking commercial RTIs like MAK, Pitch, VTC, DMSO etc. The research also involved design and modification to routing protocols like OSPF and other distance-vector protocols that were used in the framework • Involved in writing proposals being submitted to SBIR/NSF. Contributed towards 3 proposals so far. • Developed a completely scalable (self-configuring, self-organizing) autonomous network capable of focussing resources and 'attention' to dynamic regions of importance using Object-oriented development modeling • Maintaining the Discrete Event (DEVS) Java software version 3.1 Beta for ACIMS center and responsible for its licensed distribution. Leaky Neuron model developed using DEVS bases
continous simulation concepts with an objective towards modeling
neuroplasticity of neuronal connections. Other details include synapse formation, hierarchical modeling, variable DEVS model structure and emergent behavior of neuroplasticity from a discrete event model. Algorithms like Widest-shortest, Shortest-widest were also coded and flows like Elastic Flows were considered for comparitive evaluation • Design of an Operating System using C language to the level of device-drivers and virtual memory management |
